Its hard to believe that as of this past weekend, I have officially owned the car an entire decade. When I bought the car in 1998, I was a high school junior and viewed not only the car but the world through very different eyes. Looking back, I knew that I had always liked the Z32 but little did I suspect that this would be a car that would carry me from high school, through undergrad, grad and into a career. Its been a fun journey with the car, filled with ups and downs the last 4 or 5 years being filled with more downs than ups but a worthwhile experience none the less. So, long story short I've finally been getting around to getting the Z restored to what it should be, an undertaking equally aesthetic as mechanical and its not quite done yet. There is still some Tein coilovers to install, along with some other miscellaneous suspension pieces, the Kaminari side skirts, the rest of the black interior and either a new TBL or a black vinyl cover for the existing. All in all though, I'm 90% there and its nice to feel good about driving the car again. So, getting to the point. I got the car back from the body shop a few weeks back and I have just been so damn busy as of late that I just this weekend found the time to pull it out in the office parking lot and take some half way decent shots of the car. The lighting was a little dark and the location meh, but its a start, or a rebirth as I am choosing to look at it. I'm tentatively planning on putting together a real shoot for the car in the next few weeks after the Kaminari's get put on, multiple models, location the whole works. Good to see the old car back in black. ;-)

On a side note, an interesting juxtaposition through the duration of a decade. The car 10 years ago @ my parents house. Age 17
The car 10 years later at the house I'm bidding on. Age 27
